Re-setting my password

Suddenly, I can no longer use my Nest app on my phone to control the Nest. I am attempting to reset my password but haven’t received an email on my gmail account. (Gmail is not my regular email account.) can I please talk to someone on the phone to get some assistance? Please assist.

Yikes! I'm sorry to hear that you can no longer use your Nest app on your phone to control your Nest, and you are not receiving an email for your reset password request.

 

At times, you might find that automated emails go directly into the spam or junk folder. Ensure that you will also check in those folders to know if the Nest password reset emails are blocked there. Make sure it is a valid email address of yours registered in your Nest account. An error or typo might lead to failing to get the password reset email into your mailbox due to the wrong mail address. Therefore, you might experience a hitch before your password reset email is delivered. If you do not receive any mail, wait for a while before trying out the password reset process once more.

 

However, if you've made the decision to talk to someone on the phone, you may contact our support by going to the Google Nest Contact Us page.
