Return to Schedule

At 5:00AM my scheduled temperature setting starts for the day. At 9:00PM my night schedule starts. During the day if I manually change my temperature, how do I return to the day time schedule if I wish to do so? Thank you in advance!

Hi hof63,

Thanks for reaching out. You're schedule will automatically override the manual temperature. You can click on this link to learn more about this.

Thanks,

Edward

I would think the same thing. However, after the times expires the temperature stays at the HOLD selection & I have to go to my Home app & manually press the HEAT ICON & select my PRESET to go back to my actual schedule.

Hi hof63,

Thanks for the response. I'd love to know more about this. What type of Nest Thermostat do you have?

Thanks,

Edward

Hi hof63,

Thanks for the response. If you're selecting hold temperature, you can end it by doing the following steps:

  1. Open the Home app > touch and hold your thermostat's tile.
  2. Make sure your thermostat is in the Heat, Cool, or Heat • Cool mode the temperature hold is in.
  3. Tap Hold temperature.
  4. Tap End hold.

Thanks,

Edward
