Rh Rc seprate connections

See pics.

Issue it not clear what to do with the 2 separate wires Rh & Rc only one connector R

Google says they don't use jumpers. Do I twist both together and insert into the R? I understand that it only holds 1 wire or is there another connector that will act as a jumper so both wires are in their own connector?  Is *OB act as the jumper?

Nest options for Rh Rc only 1 RNest options for Rh Rc only 1 R

Honeywell no JumpersHoneywell no Jumpers

Hi MikeD1960,

Thanks for posting and for the photos.

Your HVAC system needs to be installed with a Nest Learning Thermostat that have terminals for both Rh and RC.

Best,

Mel

Well bummer, I guess I'll sell this one if it will not work with what I have.

Hey there MikeD1960,

I'm sorry that you have to replace that Thermostat with a Learning Model, I know that can be a headache. In the meantime, do you have any more questions that we can address?

Best regards,
Jeran
