Its so frustrating. Don't know what to do. Please HELP 😞 Furthermore all this nonsense about NEST/GOOGLE Generations 1,2,3,4 IS VERY CONFUSING!

@Geomax2024 , if on your nest display at the top center, you see a red blinking light that’s telling you that the battery is not being charged and is almost out of power. If in the past, your system was charged by the HVAC system systems transformer using the R and C wites, in all likelihood, your transformer on your HVAC system may no longer be supplying adequate power. A temporary workaround will be to take the display off the wall and use the USB connector on the back and charge it manually for about 4 to 5 hours. When you put the display back on the back plate, you’ll have power for a little while,
You need to get a volt-ohm multimeter, Set it to AC power, and then measure the voltage coming from the R wire and the C wire. It should report 24V AC power +/-4V. If you do not receive that 24 V of AC power the problem is the transformer in your HVAC air handler has failed.

Thank you, sounds like I might need professional help on this one if my voltage is not sufficient. Just disappointed with Google, It was working for months and then would not connect to wifi and now red light wont work at all. Yes it could be my home wiring. I'll test my voltage. Thank you.
