Sensor triggers

We're using the nest learning thermostat with temperature sensors in each of our patient rooms.  We'd like to see the ability to add more than 6 thermostats per thermometer, allowing for expanded monitoring of highly partitioned areas.  We'd also like to see the ability to trigger air circulation and HVAC cycles based on room temps.

Our primary use focus is to ensure that no patient area is getting too hot or cold in our century old building.  While we can certainly keep an eye on the sensors and manually trigger, the goal is for this to happen automatically.

Do you have a thermostat and a sensor in each of your patient's rooms?

A single thermostat for the floor, with a sensor in each room.

The Nest Learning Thermostat can only use one temperature sensor at a time. It is not possible to have multiple sensors controlling the thermostat at the same time.

It sounds like what you need is a zone control system so you have an independent control of each room

I understand that is the current limitation.  This is why I've submitted as a feedback.

The building is zoned, with a single nest controlling the existing zones (one per floor). [that is, one nest per zone]  Adding sub zones for each room wasn't feasible as it would've required extensive modifications to the building that we wouldn't be able to have approved by the city.  It's also overkill.

All we need is the ability to trigger air circulation when one room get's too hot or cold.
