I just want to have a schedule where it's 74 during the day, maintains that until 10pm at which point it drops 5 degrees for the night but then has the temp back to 74 by 7am. I have a new heat pump that's more than 100% efficient at 0 degrees F, so I NEVER want aux heat (electric) to come on above 0F. I've played with every setting I can think of and can't get it to do this. There was a period where aux was coming on a LOT (why can't we have a histogram in the Nest app showing the amount of aux and hp heat, instead of combining them?). Have never got it to maintain temp until 10pm, it always leads it. Have never got it to the right temp in the morning either. Like right now it's 8am and it's still 4 degrees below where I asked it to be by 7am. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi Whatever22,
I wanted to stop by and see how I could help.
Check out this guide on how you can change your Heat Pump Balance settings on your app so that your Nest Thermostat won't use your AUX heat all the time and will rely on using your Heat Pump heating instead.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks for the help here, Jenelyn.
Best,
Zoe
