When I set up my manual schedule at 7am it comes on at 6am. Does the time i set relate to the time it switches on or does it think that that's the time i want the room to reach set temperature and therefore turn on earlier.
The Nest has a feature called "Early On" that does what you're asking. If you have it set to come on at 7 AM, it will come on earlier, in order to reach your desired temp by 7 AM. If you don't like that, just turn the 'Early On' feature off.
