Display reads no power. Error code 260

What's the model of your thermostat? Do you have a photo of the error? Can you post that here?

@ES84, Thanks for reaching out about the message code you're getting from your Nest Thermostat. It looks like you have the Nest Thermostat 2020 model. Let's see what's going on.

 

Please follow the steps on this page:

 

  1. Please check your system's power.
  2. Make sure the power to the system is on.
    1. The power switch is usually in the breaker box; then check your thermostat.
  3. Inspect your thermostat wires.
    1. Turn off the power to the HVAC unit at the breaker box.
  4. Remove the thermostat display.
    1. Ensure that the wires are at the correct terminals and properly connected.
  5. Turn on the power to the system, then check if the thermostat works.

 

If possible, please share with us a photo of your old and new Nest thermostats' wiring so we can see how you label them.
