Something went wrong message may need to return to factory settings

Trying to reconnect my nest thermostat to my home app that’s been previously installed getting something went wrong message may have to return to factory settings ?

 

Thermostat went off line approx 7 days ago according to app history. Wifi connection is strong says account disconnected? Added it back to the nest app brings me to adding device in home app but unsuccessful
