Stage 2 Cooling

My thermostat say stage 2 cooling and it 81 degrees.  I manually put it to 70 and nothing is happening

Is this a newly installed Nest Thermostat ? If so, could you please share with us a photo of your old thermostat? Gather the power readouts in the Technical Info settings.
