Still having the same problem. Unable to get my thermostat to connect to the heat linj

Posted about two weeks ago, had one lovely person answer with some info and questions then heard nothing.

The thermostat is from the previous owner. All I wanted to do was link it to my app so it could, you know, do what it's designed for. But nothing is working. The heat link has no indication or being in connection mode or if it's been reset. I have a constant, pulsing blue light and if I press and hold for about 20s it flashes five times, goes off for a few seconds and then resumes pulsing.

The thermostat can't find the heat link at any point in this cycle. I've turned the boiler off to power off the heat link for varied amounts of time and it's not changed a thing.

Does anyone know what I need to do? Or have any advice on something I should try?
