We have an existing Nest thermostat and heatlink which work brilliantly.
I am trying to add a second Nest thermostat (3rd gen). It connects to the wi fi no problem but gets stuck when it gets to the "connect to heatlink" step of the installation process. I understand from other threads that you can't connect two Nest thermostats to the same heatlink but don't understand what you are meant to do then when adding a second Nest thermostat to the network.
I have tried to connect it via the app but the app needs a seven digit code, which I can't get from the thermostat because, as above, I can't seem to be able to bypass the "connect to heatlink" stage of the installation process so can't get to the main menu of the thermostat.
Probably doing something very stupid but grateful for some help! Many thanks.

Hi there, @24TOTO,
Thanks for reaching out. For each thermostat added to your ecosystem, you need a Heat Link, One thermostat can connect to only one Heat Link and vice versa. So, if you need 2 zones, you need one Heat Link and one thermostat for each zone. Let us know if you need more help.
