I just installed a nest e thermostat. Could not install the new one because it is not compatible with my two wire heating system, a big miss for the northeast. Anyway I’m getting the app is having trouble connecting to the assisting device. I have a Sony tv and a nest doorbell on google home and nothing on the nest app. I’ve got the thermostat connected to WiFi and I can see that’s working but no luck with app. Hopefully I can get some help to fix it. Otherwise going to have to return and it is strike two.
