We lost power this morning for 1/2 an hour and then it came back on. Now my Stat is reading 5° higher than it actually is. Stat is set at 73° and reads 74° and actual temperature is 69°. I've rebooted the Stat but still having the same issue. Stat is only a few years old. How do I recalibrate it?

I am not much help, I can home from being gone a week yesterday and my "current" temperature reading is now 20 degrees higher than the actual temp. I restarted my 9 month old Nest, checked for an update, and Googled without luck. I hope you get a helpful response.

That did not work. The thermostat said Y1 is required for the heat pump to work.

After speaking with several people at Google, it was determined that my Nest is faulty and a new one is being sent since it was still under warranty. I hope that solves the issue.
