We just purchased a new home and the previous owners left us a house with everything nest. When I try to add the sensors to my account it keeps saying attached to another account. I have taken the battery out to reset with no luck. How can I factory reset the sensor and get it working?

Have you found any information out about this? I am in the same boat and don’t know what to do with it.

I took the battery out for 48 hours and that worked.

I'm having this problem right now, my best thermostat shows I have got 25°C home but I know it's wrong and I've already tried everything, please help me..

Accidentally deleted my nest app on my IPhone. Reinstalled the app, and got my thermostat to reset after a full factory reset. But now my room temp sensor says it’s associated w another account! Same problem as above. I’ll try the 24 hour deal but any other ideas?
