Hi. I have a 2nd generation thermostat that at some point I had used it but for the past couple of years had been unwired and unused, sitting on a shelf. I grabbed it yesterday to use it for a friend and it didn't turn on at all, so I connected it to a USB charger and let it charge over night. Now when I start the installation process, it says "Equipment detected" and then if I continue, gives me E72 error; it seems it thinks it is still wired while it is not. Any suggestion?
