Thermostat Continues to reset

Thermostat continues to reset, be back in a bit message. Possibly a bad battery. Need replacement

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble with your Nest Thermostat. The constant resetting and the "be back in a bit" message can indeed be frustrating. It's a good call to suspect the battery as a possible culprit. Let's sort this out.

 

  • Gather the power readings in the Technical Info settings. This would help us determine if it's a power-related issue that could be a reason for it to restart regularly.
  • Check its software version; make sure it's up-to-date. An unexpected restart with a green LED light flashing usually means that it's getting an update.
  • Search for any wiring report or message codes in its settings that would indicate the possibility of an issue.
