I have a 3 story house with a Nest 3rd generation on each floor. I went out of town for 2 days and after a rush hour event all 3 thermostats go offline. When I get home all of my thermostats are totally factory reset and my house is 90 degrees almost cooked my cat. I had to completely delete from my app and reinstall like they are brand new. Very annoying if I was home and dangerous in the summer when I’m not home. I’ve read many other people have the same issue. This is a safety issue as I have a cat at home and there is no way to resolve this issue remotely. Once I got home had to completely program the thermostats from new.
Rush hour completely screws up 3 thermostats all offline at the same time while I’m out of town.
This is a know bug that has still not been resolved. How are you able to remotely factory reset my thermostats?
