Thermostat Install

I am trying to complete the install of a nest G4CVZ thermostat. I have installed a power connector  as the wiring is just 2 wire - heat only. My phone blue tooth shows the thermostat but the thermostat does not find my phone. I have the nest app installed from the old nest. Do I need to install the google home app also?

Or do I need to uninstall the nest app for the old thermostat?

I understand that you are trying to complete the installation of your Nest Thermostat after installing the Nest Power Connector in your heating system. During this process, you have experienced some issues, such as the thermostat not being able to find your phone. I'm happy to help you.

Therefore, please note that for this specific model, you must use the Google Home app to complete the setup process, not the Nest app. Here is a video where you can see the process: How to install and set up Nest Thermostat.
