Thermostat can’t add to home

Hey there, 

I’ve seen a few posts online regarding the same issue but I haven’t been successful in fixing the issue. Installation is successful to the very end but then isn’t able to add to my ‘home’ in google home app and there is no Nest work around. I’ve gone through the usual restoring every device related imaginable to factory settings and starting from scratch.

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with setting up your Nest Thermostat. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:

 

  • What type of Nest Thermostat do you have?
  • Are you getting any message during the setup?
  • Have you tried setting it up on a different home structure?
