The thermostat says it is connected. My phone says the nest lost connection 4 hours ago. What should I do?

A few questions — what type of Nest thermostat is this? Any changes or updates made on your thermostat, mobile device, or WiFi network before this started happening? Also, are you getting a specific code or message on your thermostat's display?
You might also start by restarting your thermostat by following the steps here: https://bit.ly/3riP5Dp If the issue persists, try rebooting your WiFi router too. You may also need to ensure that you have the latest version of the Nest app.
