Hi guys maybe someone can help, I have an electric central York with a electric heating heat strip heat pump. But I’m getting cold air when on heater , not sure what’s wrong I have attached some pictures. Left it for a few hours and never heated up the house, also had to turn off by beaker after I finally gave up and set it to off it was still on after maybe 20ish minutes. Thanks in advance

side note: thermostat was installed yesterday so no previous data to compare also heat strip is new; I’m the new home buyer

Can you post a picture of the original thermostat wiring?

Also, can you post a picture of the Nest thermostat base wiring

What is the manufacturer and model number of your HVAC?

@Nestnoob1

Do you remember how the other one was wired?

Which wires were added when you had the electric strip installed?

What is the Manufacturer and model number of the Electric Heat Strip that was installed?

Was it installed as AUX heat or Emergency heat?
