Thermostat issue

Hi, I keep getting the message on the thermostat itself saying  “Thermostat is restarting, back in a bit” it then shuts off for a minute and then comes back on with the same message so is stuck in a continual cycle of trying to re-set itself. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix?

Sorry to hear about what's going on with your Nest thermostat and also for the delayed response. 

 

Do you still need help with this? If yes, what type of Nest thermostat do you have? Did this work with your HVAC system before? If yes, were there recent changes made on your thermostat or your HVAC before this message started appearing? Also, could you provide a rundown of the steps you've already tried so I can have everything reviewed?

Hi, it is still an issue.

in terms of what I’ve tried so far….I’ve tried replacing the plug and charger for a different one to rule out a power issue.

I’ve also tried the “hamburger reset” as previously advised for another issue - this does not work as the system is stuck in a perpetual loop as per my original post.
