Thermostat thinks room is warmer then it is

I have had my Nest thermostat for several years and about a year ago it started showing the room temperature is much warmer than it actually is by 5 degrees. So if I have it set to cool to 76 it keeps running as it thinks the room temperature is 81, when it’s already at 76. I have rebooted it several times and also reset it. I live in Florida so this is a constant issue. Not sure if there is a fix or if I need to replace

What type of Nest Thermostat do you have? It will help us identify what troubleshooting is best suited for your case.
