Thermostat won't work on schedule

My Nest heating and hot water does not work when scheduled via the app or scheduled via the wireless unit.

However, the hot water works via the Boost function and the heating when you directly turn the dial on the unit to select the temperature. 

I have restarted the Heatlink (which is a new one replaced by Google) I have also restarted the App and taken property and everything off and then reconnected. The App allows you to schedule nothing comes on at the allotted time. 

Is this a common issue? I haven't come across it before
