Thermostat

I moved into my new home 4 months ago. Had a Best thermostat in the property. Added the Nest app to my IPhone and got it to work with little problem. 
A week ago the thermostat disappeared from the app on my phone and when I try to add product (as it keeps asking) says already attached to this account. I’ve tried all sorts of things and followed advice on the app, but getting nowhere. HELP! Thank you

Can you try logging into the web portal to see if the thermostat appears there?

If it does, I would suggest deleting the cache on your phone and uninstall the app, then reinstall. 

Sorry Ash, just followed your link. No it doesn't show on the portal but it does show on the Google home app

I have the same problem.  I've deleted the app and reinstalled it 3 times.  No change.  Please let me know if you find out how to fix it

No it's not showing up on the portal just on the Google home app

Can you tell me which Nest Thermostat you have? If you have the newest Nest Learning Thermostat, then it would only be used in the Google Home App.  You can tell the difference by the photos on the link below:

Mine shows in the home app but that doesn't have all the functions on the nest app

Okay, good to know that is shows in the home app.  What about the nest portal I linked above? 

IF it is showing in the home app, then I suspect an issue with the nest app on your phone, which is why besides just uninstalling and reinstalling, I also suggested clearing the cache, and rebooting your phone.

Hi Ash,  I cleared the cache, rebooted my phone and reinstalled the app.  Still no different.  When I try to add it the thermostat won't give a key and says its already added to an account
