I moved into my new home 4 months ago. Had a Best thermostat in the property. Added the Nest app to my IPhone and got it to work with little problem.
A week ago the thermostat disappeared from the app on my phone and when I try to add product (as it keeps asking) says already attached to this account. I’ve tried all sorts of things and followed advice on the app, but getting nowhere. HELP! Thank you
Can you try logging into the web portal to see if the thermostat appears there?
If it does, I would suggest deleting the cache on your phone and uninstall the app, then reinstall.
Can you tell me which Nest Thermostat you have? If you have the newest Nest Learning Thermostat, then it would only be used in the Google Home App. You can tell the difference by the photos on the link below:
Okay, good to know that is shows in the home app. What about the nest portal I linked above?
IF it is showing in the home app, then I suspect an issue with the nest app on your phone, which is why besides just uninstalling and reinstalling, I also suggested clearing the cache, and rebooting your phone.
