Trouble Setting Up Learning Thermostat

I’m having repeating issues finishing my Learning Thermostat set-up. At the last step, I get a message that “We’re having trouble communicating with the Nest service right now”. I’ve restarted the thermostat multiple times, restarted my internet and my phone. Nothing is working.

I’m having the same issue, customer services  Can’t help. Have you had any luck?

Same problem here, trying to add a nest detect sensor, goes all the way through process and then when finishing up it says “we’re having trouble communicating with the Nest service right now”

I’m using a mesh network (Orbi) not sure if that is part of the problem.

I was able to get it to work on my boyfriend's phone, but the nest app is still not connecting to my nest thermostat.

Sorry for the late reply. I wanted to check in with you, and see if you are still having trouble. I am glad to hear you were able to get your boyfriend's phone to connect to the device. Since that is connected, you can try sharing access, so you both are able to control the device. Please let me know if that helps, or if you have any questions from here.
