There are several threads with my exact same problem. And all posts look the same:
1) User posts problem
2)Google employee apologizes for problem and asks if problem is still solved a few days later
3)Jake locks the thread with no discussion of the problem a few days after that.
Somebody has the answer to the problem but the threads are locked before any discussion occurs. Please for goodness sake keep a thread open long enough for a wise person to reply to it!

Hi jakemoore,
Thanks for your honest feedback. We apologize if there are threads that were closed sooner than you would have liked. As Community Specialists, we occasionally do a bit of housekeeping to keep the conversations in our community fresh and relevant. This includes locking of threads after a period of inactivity.
We invite you to search the Community to see if a discussion is open and ongoing about your topic. If not, feel free to start a new thread.
Thanks,
Edward
