Two thermostats

Jefap
Community Member

I have a nest thermostat on my first floor and would like to install a second one in a bedroom. Both would control the single ac/furn for the house. Can this be done without providing additional wiring back to the existing nest or the main furn?
I would like to provide the stat in the bedroom with just power and wi-fi

thanks

Hi Jefap,

Thanks for posting.

I suggest contacting a Nest Pro technician to have your single HVAC system to accommodate two Nest Thermostats since normally, it requires both thermostats to be wired and incorporated with your HVAC system.

Best,

Mel
