We have 2 Nest thermostats at our primary residence. Both are no longer connected to the Nest App. I am having trouble reconnecting them. Process seems to break down while "trying to connect to an assisting device." There is no assisting device. How can I fix this? Thanks.

Thanks for posting.
This message usually appears when you have other Nest devices in your home. Make sure that these devices' display are active when setting up your Nest Thermostat.
