Unable to connect Net Learning Thermostat 3rd Gen. to Android Home app

I am on the same WiFi network as this thermostat.

I have another home setup with a working Nest thermostat connected.

The QR scan gives the message Error! Unable to start device pairing. Configuration not available.

After manually entering the key the next page says to Choose the last 4 characters of your device's serial number. None are displayed.

I tried creating a new home to setup the device but same errors.

Android Home app is up to date.

I understand that thermostat issues can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help. 

 

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?
