I have the W5 error code and cannot find any number to help me replace it. It is a 3rd generation product and only 1-year old. I have read that if the only solution for this code is to replace it, but cannot find anyway of contacting anyone at nest. it is deeply frustrating!

I have the same problem with W5 error code. I contacted google via https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp?hl=en and they called me back immediately. This is apparently a common hardware problem and they should replace the unit if it is still under warranty. Good luck with this. I am still awaiting the replacement after three weeks.
