W5 error

One of My nest thermostats  will not connect to the WiFi. It worked well for 4 months or so but now it can’t find the WiFi.  The other thermostat (is farther away from modem) is connected to the WiFi.  I followed the directions to reset the nest but it still doesn’t connect and still shows W5 error.

What is the next move to correct. This issue?

David, are you a google employee?  Do you have a solution for my No Connection problem?

If it can not be corrected I need a new Thermostat (this one is 6 months old and the box says 5 year warranty .

Please advise.  Thanks

No, I am not a Google employee. As a product expert, we have the ability to ask a community specialist to review your case.

If you'd prefer not to wait for a specialist to review your case here in the community, you contact the Google Nest support team directly by phone or chat.
