When in heat and cool mode, raising the cool setting to reduce energy use turns up the heat setting too.

My thermostat has been working that way since last fall when I had to turn to heat only to stop the AC from running when the program reduced the heat setting in the evening.  Now, just minutes after finding that I could comment here, my thermostat seems to have fixed itself.
