Why am I getting a Y1 Wire error?

A week ago we had an issue with our ac unit and replaced a couple parts and now I keep getting a Y1 wire error. If I pull the nest off the wall and then put it back it starts working fine. Why is this all of a sudden happening??

@Kbfield1 ,

If while the system was being “repaired”, you did not touch the thermostat, then there is a continuity issue with the  Y wire. Check the air handler and the outdoor unit’s contactor.  Look at your repair ticket, what did the technician replace?
