Hi
There is a possibility that a Hirer at our Hall will turn off an extender device whilst they are in our Hall on Saturday (there is nothing I can do to prevent this). The extender allows the wifi to go to the Nest Thermostat - if it is turned off does this mean that the Thermostat is unable to send commands to the boiler to reduce temperature in evening and increase temperature in morning.
Sorry if it such a basic question - the Hirer in question maintains she is allergic to wifi signals!!

Short answer is no. The thermostat will continue working even when it’s disconnected from Wi-Fi. It just can't send alerts to your phone, and you can't control it using the app.
