Wiring a Nest E to replace a Honeywell BDR91 UK

Having seen the BDR91 was on the Google Nest compatibility list I ordered a Nest E.

Hit an issue when trying to wire it up which I can't resolve using the app.

The app tells me to isolate Live and Neutral wires as they're not required due to the Heat Link being battery powered. However, connector A on the right, which I believe is Common, is bridged to the Live wire on the left.

Do I connect the A to C on the Nest as suggested, which in effect is simply connecting the Live wire?

Hi @vfrvulcan - from what I understand, yes you will want to do that. I had to buy a power adapter but it appears yours won’t need that as long as you do what the app suggested. Keep us posted and good luck!

Thanks for the heads-up Jake,

Just seem to have one issue outstanding. In the (minimal) manual it suggests that whenever the Nest in calling for heat then the Icon will be illuminated on the Heat Link - I don't see this.

In other words, when I walk past the Heat Link there is no indication whether it is active or not.
