Have a two wire Honeywell thermostat replacing with Nest Learning thermostat. Only boiler, so two wires out of Honeywell run boiler. no a/c or other items.I have the two wires being used and two additional wires available at the thermostat which were not used by the Honeywell. I assume I can run the Nest with 4 wires. How many wires do I need and where do they connect on Nest?

Hello Jolson,
Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry. I'd be happy to take a look into this for you.
A 2-wire configuration would also work with the Nest Thermostats, but you might need additional power by installing a C wire or Nest Power Connector. Let's see if we can use the other two bare wires as a common wire. Could you send us a picture of your boiler's control panel showing the wiring configuration from your thermostat?
I'll look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Mark
