Bought a house the stat was on the wall. Heating works well, as wel go from winter into +27, I would like to use my "fan on" option. It works, but on "low" only. Had to check, same with the AC. Verified the heating mode blower blows like it should...I have 5 wires..orange to C, white to W1, red to RH, green to G, and black to Y1...I have no instructions, nor prior experience with this stat. It works well on heat

Hi JustPJ

Thanks for reaching out to the community! I'll be happy to help troubleshoot the fan low speed only situation with your thermostat.

I appreciate you providing the details about your wiring setup. Based on what you've described, the connections appear to be correct. This suggests the problem might lie within the thermostat's fan control settings or the capabilities of your fan itself. The specific model and brand of your HVAC system could also play a role.

To best understand how to proceed and provide the most relevant troubleshooting steps, could you please share a few more details with me?

In the meantime, you might find some useful background information in this article about fan compatibility: Fan compatibility with Nest thermostats

I look forward to hearing back from you so we can work through this together and get your fan working as expected!

Regards,

Humberto
