Missing key code

My existing 3rd generation learning thermostat has no key code on the base and I cant find an "Account" setting under settings. How can I get the key please to connect with my Android phone app?

Nest won’t trigger on set temperature

My nest cool was set to 78. Nest current temperature showed 79 however it didn’t trigger the AC on. Is that normal? Other thermostats certainly trigger AC on immediately after the temperature drops below the set cooling.
