hooking up plain Nest to a boiler

Got a Nest thermostat and an older hot water boiler. No circuit board(s)., an Aquastat Three Taco zone valves. Nest is replace one zone. Have red and white wires, no green. Got power connector. Where do I attach it? Aquastat or to Zone valve. Thanks
