Nest thermostat not cooling properly

Thermostat-1.4Worked all winter heating the house. I have gas heat. Switched over to AC, the unit turns on outside but the fan inside never turns on. Is this a setup issue, wiring issue, or hardware issue?

I have a trane heat pump. There is a black wire connected to the X2 terminal on the original Trane thermostat. The install does not have a X2 option. Is X2 compatible with another letter I could substitute?
