Hello santiagoorosco,
I understand the frustration you must be feeling right now. To resolve the issue of not being able to reset your Nest password due to the verification message being sent to your old phone, there are a few steps you can try:
- Check the Spam folder, Promotions folder, and Junk or Trash if your email filters junk mail directly to the trash.
- Did you recently delete their Nest account or have you received an email from Nest asking you to confirm their account's deletion?
- If your mail service uses one, add @https://goo.gle/39uRUrD to their allowlist. The steps on how to do this step vary based on the Internet Service Provider (ISP). If you can't find the steps on how to do this with a simple Google search, contact your ISP for help with the process.
- Some email domains may have an anti-spam feature that could block legitimate emails from Nest inadvertently. If you add account@nest.com to your allowlist, you should receive the verification email.
- Known domains that block Nest emails at the server level are: @https://goo.gle/47IoTGN and @https://goo.gle/4azyHFr.
- If you still can't receive emails after you add account@nest.com to your allowlist, contact your ISP or email provider.
Let us know how it goes.
Regards,
Mark
