Don't think there is enough information to act on here, but FWIW, there are known connection issues where it will just stop connecting to WiFi. I had mine replaced under warranty for this issue.

Hi folks,

Thanks for chiming in, @Bowgy4

@mitchphillips, uh-oh! I'm sorry to hear that your downstairs thermostat stopped connecting with the Wi-Fi. Let's see what's going on. A few questions:

  1. Are you located in North America or Europe?
  2. What type of Nest Thermostat do you have?
  3. How many Nest devices are offline?
  4. Has the device ever been connected to their Wi-Fi network before?
  5. Does it show offline in the Nest or Google Home app or indicated on the Nest device?
  6. Are other non-Nest devices in the home offline?
  7. Can the device find or detect other networks?
  8. Has there been any recent change in the home Wi-Fi network?
  9. Is the Wi-Fi router or access point within a reasonable range (1 to 15 meters) of between three to fifty feet from the Nest devices?

Keep us posted. We're happy to help.

Best,

Zoe
