nest thermostat App on different phone different

Hi,

 

I have been running the nest app quite successfully for two years on my old Android phone. got a New Iphone, downloaded app but cannot add thermostat to the app on new phone. It keeps asking for an entry code but the thermostat says it is connected and does not give me one. Any thoughts please?

If it's already setup, you can't use the first time setup steps to connect it to the app again. Simply login to the app using the same account you set up the thermostat with and the thermostat will already show up.

ok, thanks for that, I had begun to come to that conclusion so its good to have that confirmation. will try it later today
