My nest thermostat wont find or connect to wifi network, W5 error.
I have tried resetting, turning on and off and keeping next to wifi device. choosing all kinds of wifi 5GH or 2.5 etc.
Tried many times everything on google forum but it would not even show up names of any wifi network.

I would think the wifi chip is faulty, just contact google by the normal means!!
They are active now, as just contacted them

Hey folks,
Thanks for your suggestion, Frustratedddd.
thermostat and Boitebado, I want to check on this further. Could you provide a photo of your thermostat display showing the code you're getting? Also, when and where did you buy your Nest thermostats as well as what country are you in?
Best,
Melba

I am having the same issue. The nest thermostat does not seem to pick up any wifi networks to connect to. It seems to have dropped connection days ago
