nest thermostat

So how can it tell this thermostat to raise the temperature   It says 17.5 and the thermostat says that is all you are going to get.  I ask for 22 and it basically tells where to go.  maybe in three hours it will do something.   My old thermostat would raise the temp 4 degrees in about twenty minutes.   I should never have spent the money on something that does not work.  I have had this issue since installing four days ago

Thank you for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear about what's happening.

Since you've just started using Nest Thermostat, it'll take a few days and changes to the temperature for it to learn and automatically adjust to your most comfortable settings.

You could also check the Nest Thermostat modes and make sure that the right equipment settings have been selected.
