If you have a Nest thermostat released in 2020, it might be compatible with two stages of heating or cooling. However, this setup only works if you don't need the *O/B terminal for another function. The wire that controls the second stage of cooling should connect to this terminal and be configured as the second stage in the thermostat settings.
