newly moved into nest home

We recently moved into a home with a Nest thermostat. We call it Hal.  How do I stop all programming and use it as a regular thermostat?

Thanks for posting in Google Nest Community.  Let's sort this out! What type of Nest Thermostat do you have? Each Nest Thermostat has different settings but you can disable some smart features. Check out this support article to see how.
