installed nest thermostat back in April has been working fine and just now lost power. have reset Hvac, taken batteries out and put back in, checked all wiring taking wires out putting back in, no blown fuses , no issues with unit and water drain pipes etc

I have the exact same issue. Just started last night and we have no ability to adjust AC

I understand that you just installed it some months ago and it was working really well, then it just started to lose power. You have already tried some troubleshooting steps but still have the same issue. No worries, help is here.
In order to give you the correct steps I need some extra information. Here are some questions for you:
In the meantime, please try to change the batteries for some new batteries following the next steps;
Note: We recommend you use Energizer AAA 1.5 V Alkaline batteries.
